I am presently a cancer patient of Dr. Yirinec and receiving chemotherapy treatment at Finger Lakes Hematology/Oncology in Clifton Springs. A very competent, caring, dedicated staff from the administrative group to the nurses NP’s and doctor, have treated me not only in a professional way but also as an individual, not just as a cancer patient. They always have a smile for the patient and the time to answer any questions or concerns I may have about the treatments. It appears they really enjoy what they are doing. FLHO provides the best treatment for me. I feel that my well-being is a high priority for the entire staff. I firmly believe that I am getting the best care possible at this facility, which helps me to keep my positive outlook that my treatments will be successful.

I can’t say enough good things about everyone at FLHO that we have met throughout this difficult life-changing situation. Dr. Yirinec, Ginny, Lynn, and Tracy are friendly, very caring individuals and have taken the time to answer any questions we have had, no matter how trivial they may seem and explain in terms we can understand the treatments for my husband’s type of cancer. It takes a lot of dedication on the nurses’ part to be around cancer patients day in and day out and be able to laugh and joke with the patients and make them feel good. My experience with the chemotherapy unit was as a family member, what I experienced was a group of professional, yet personal and warm chemotherapy nurses that work together as a cohesive unit. Because of their professional, yet friendly ways these nurses won my father’s absolute trust and gratitude. He feels that he could not have received better care at any larger, more specialized facility. Clifton Springs is close to home and provides knowledgeable and specialized chemotherapy.
